Healing the Gulf

Most of us are watching helplessly as the oil spill in the Gulf damages our ecosystem, but there is something we can do in our own homes to help. Rather than giving into the anger, let’s use our energy to bring about positive change.

Dr. Masaru Emoto is a Japanese scientist who has conducted the most amazing experiments with water including healing pollution with prayer. A participant in the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know?,” he has actual scientific evidence that sending loving thoughts to water changes its structure (http://www.masaru-emoto.net). He proposes that we recite this prayer:

“I send the energy of love and gratitude to the water and all the living creatures in the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings. To the whales, dolphins, pelicans, fish, shellfish, plankton, corals, algae and all living creatures…..I am sorry. Please forgive me.  Thank you.  I love you.”

As a Druid, let me offer this suggestion. Recite this prayer in the shower, when you’re washing clothes or dishes, or even if you’re in the rain! Water will connect to itself and spread the healing energy faster this way.

Mother Earth is not fragile herself, but our existence is. If we continue to damage her, she’ll take us out!

One Response to Healing the Gulf

  1. What a wonderful message. As a hawaiian, one of the most powerful mantra I use is to repeat, “Ho’oponopono” (pronouncing each letter). This has the energy of change through love, forgiveness and acceptance. http://www.idreamcatcher.com/hooponopono/

I too seek to help others make a change through Dr. Emoto’s work and have seen, felt and been told of some miraculous changes from within. Dr. Emoto is certainly inspirational and I believe an integral part of help the world rise to a higher vibration through positive energy. http://www.kotodamaglassware.com
